After sanitising the tap you can then drive it into your keystone (using a rubber mallet) the hard taper will create a seal against the cask that will not leak if inserted with force. Once the ale has settled you can draw of a sample to check clarity, the smooth opening and closing action won't disrupt the hops or yeast. Use with a hop strainer to prevent any hops entering your beer lines or your customers pint. The tap can easily be disassembled for cleaning.
