Kasumi knives are ultra sharp professional chefs knives manufactured in Japan. We offer the choice between the full range of Kasumi Damascus, Kasumi HM Hammered, Kasumi Titanium, Kasumi Kuro and Kasumi VG10 Pro ranges.
The Kasumi Damascus range is made in the traditional Samuri way of folding 32 layers of V-Gold no. 10 high carbon steel to produce a wonderful Damascus effect on the blade. This technique ensures a perfect blade, which is hard and ultra sharp but also strong and flexible. The Kasumi Damascus range is finished off by a strong elegant laminated wood handle.
The Kasumi Titanium top quality chefs knives feature extra sharp edges with Titanium coated Molybdenum Vanadium Steel blades and black heat resistant polypropylene handles. Available in blue, gold or grey.
The Kasumi HM hammered series of premium knives offer a lovely shiny hammered pattern on both sides of the blade. The Kasumi HM series features a blade made from a core of VG10 cobalt high carbon stainless steel. The blades are hardened to Rockwell C59-60 degrees; the ideal point at which a steel blade is hard enough to retain its razor sharp edge and also allows for re-sharpening and maintaining the finish. The Kasumi hammer pattern on both sides of the blade is produced through a method of hot forging with results that the knife is not only a stunning looking knife but also has a stronger blade and the small air pockets between the food and blade when cutting reduces friction and sticking. The handle is crafted from polyacetal resin (POM) and features a double rivet for strength and an extended bolster to maintain perfect balance.
The Kasumi VG-10 Pro range of premium knives offer the first 'super steel' western style knife. Forged from one single piece of high carbon VG-10 stainless steel, these knives offer an extremely high degree of hardness. These top quality knives are extremely sharp and very durable. Finished with a marble effect handle, which is beautiful and attractive to hold.
The Kasumi Kuro range offers a blade made from Molybdenum Vanadian steel. The blades are hardened to Rockwell C58. Both sides of the blade have a beautiful Damascus pattern of 32 layers with hammered finish which prevents food from sticking and therefore makes the knife more hygienic. The handle has an octagon shape which makes it easy to grip, and has a black epoxy coating which is water and chemical resistant.
A full range of accessories are available including sharpeners, whetstones and storage blocks.

Each knife is carefully assembled and finished to produce a blade which is hard, strong and flexible. (Deba knife with 19 layers). This superb Damascus knife is finished off by comfortable and stylish Micarta handles which have an inlay of stainless steel which can be engraved if required.
Tojiro Supreme knives share many of the same characteristics as the Tojiro Senkou range. They use 37 individual layers of Damascus steel with similar ultra sharp edge although they use a hollow stainless steel handle.
